The start time for the Region 1-1A quarterfinal game between Bradford and Keystone Heights has been set, while the times of the first pitches for the Keystone Heights baseball team’s first two Region 1-2A quarterfinal games against Bishop Snyder are different from what was originally reported by the Telegraph-Times-Monitor.
Bradford High School will be the site of the flag football game between the Tornadoes and the Indians, with the game beginning at 6 p.m. Bradford (11-2) is the region’s third seed, while Keystone (9-8) is the sixth seed. The winner will play the winner between second seed University Christian (9-0) or seventh seed Newberry (5-5) in a semifinal game on Monday, April 28, with the higher seed being the host.
The Telegraph-Times-Monitor originally reported that the first two games of the best-of-three Region 1-2A quarterfinal baseball series between seventh seed Keystone (19-7) and second seed Bishop Snyder (20-6) would start at 7 p.m., but KHHS, which is the host for those games, has since announced the start times will be 6:30 p.m. The games will be played on Monday, April 21, and Tuesday, April 22. If a third game is necessary, it will be played at Bishop Snyder on Thursday, April 24. The time, as of now, is being reported as 7 p.m.
If Keystone wins the series, it will play third seed Bozeman (22-4) or sixth seed Bolles (16-9) in a semifinal series (also best of three) that will start on Monday, April 28. The Indians would have to travel for the first two games, regardless of opponent.
