KEYSTONE HEIGHTS—Superintendent David Broskie said Keystone Heights High School’s 31-point increase was one of the district’s highlights after the state released school grades in December.

The superintendent said the school had not achieved an A since 2011, which it regained in 2023 after a 12-year hiatus.

Other highlights Broskie pointed out during the January 4 school board meeting were that 93% of Clay schools have either an A or B grade, Middleburg High School earned an A grade for the first time in over a decade, Oakleaf and Ridgeview high schools increased their scores by 24 points. They were rated as A schools, and McRae Elementary earned an A.

“They do fantastic work out there,” Broskie said of McRae.
