Kiersten Shaw scored five goals for the Keystone Heights High School girls soccer team, which defeated visiting Newberry 6-2 on Nov. 27.
Ashly McCarthy also scored a goal as the Indians (2-2-1) improved to 2-0 in District 4-3A.
Ella Hutchins recorded an assist, while goalie Aspen Krohn made 10 saves.
Shaw has 11 goals on the season, which ranks her second in Class 3A and tied for fifth in all classifications. Melbourne Central Catholic’s Grace Vevera has 13 goals to lead Class 3A.

Keystone travels to play district opponent Interlachen on Tuesday, Nov. 28, at 5 p.m. and will host West Nassau on Friday, Dec. 1, at 5:30 p.m. The Indians then host Ridgeview on Monday, Dec. 4, at 7:20 p.m. That match follows a junior varsity match, which will begin at 5:30 p.m. Keystone’s JV team is 2-1.
