Hunter Sheppard made par on four holes and shot a first-place score of 43 to help lead the Keystone Heights High School boys golf team to a win over host Bradford on Oct. 5.
The Indians had a team score of 187, while the Tornadoes finished at 203.
Bradford’s Charles Zink Keystone’s Will Begue each shot a 46 to tie for second. Zink made par on three holes, while Begue made par on one.
Colton Weaver, who made par on two holes, placed fourth for the Indians with a score of 48.
A three-way tie for fifth resulted after Keystone’s Nathaniel Bardier and Bradford’s Avery Burgin and Jay Hampton each shot a 50. Burgin and Hampton each made par on three holes, while Bardier made par on one.
The Indians’ Shepherd Rozier and Landon Spence placed eighth and ninth, respectively, with scores of 51 and 53. Rozier had a birdie, while Spence made par on two holes.
Bradford’s Jeffrey Brugh, who made par on one hole, shot a 10th-place score of 57, while teammate Kaylee Devore shot an 11th-place score of 62.
