STARKE—The Union County Sheriff’s Office said its deputies participated in Lake Butler Elementary’s career day, speaking to students about the importance of law enforcement and when and why to call 911 for emergencies.
The interaction also included hands-on demonstrations with law enforcement equipment.
“All the kids had lots of questions, and it is always a fun time talking to them about what we do,” the office said. “We also participate in career days at our middle and high Schools throughout the year.”
