KEYSTONE HEIGHTS— The Garden Club of the Lakes has honored Richard and Virginia Story with its Yard of the Month award.
The Storys moved into their current residence approximately six years ago. Their home is located by the Keystone golf course in the community of Airy Woods.
A neighbor, Marilyn Sandbeck, also a Garden Club member, nominated them for the recognition.
The couple’s azaleas were in full bloom when I came by and took photos.
Virginia said that she wanted flowers and planted Gerber daisies for color.
The Storys added they wanted to keep the yard manageable but still have flowers.
A lovely swing is located in the perfect place to sit and overlook their beautiful landscape.
