The digital design instructor for Bradford High School said eight students passed the Adobe Certified Professional Photoshop Certification Exam.

Instructor Steven Djavaheri said the certification validates a student’s proficiency in Photoshop for various tasks, including photo editing, graphic design, and digital art creation. It demonstrates their knowledge of the software’s key features, tools, and workflows and their ability to apply best practices in real-world scenarios.

“Certified individuals are often recognized for their expertise, which can enhance their career opportunities in creative fields,” he said.

Chrishon Tycovey Sharpe

Axel L. Markwich, Bryson Coal Hudson, Caleb Issac Barber, Chrishon Tycovey Sharpe, Isabel Claire Pritchett, Kyrstin Chloe Cornwall, Maialen Leiza-Otxandiano, and Tremeze Korin White earned the certification.

Student Jake Bradley Harris passed the Unity Certified User: Artist Certification exam.

“This is a very difficult coding certification,” Djavaheri said. “The Unity Certified User Artist certification validates an individual’s ability to create visually appealing and engaging content using Unity’s tools and features. The certification demonstrates art asset management, scene content design, visual effects, and animation.”

Djavaheri said that 11 more students passed the Adobe Certified Professional Photoshop test or the Microsoft ITS-103 certification exam during a different testing session.

Benjamin Blake Nugent

Ashley Faith Mackey, Benjamin Blake Nugent, Branden Kyle Martin, Corey James, Hannah Cristine House, Justin Allen Wright, Justin Sean Byrd, Kyrstin Chloe Cornwall, Parviele Lashay Lee, Pedro Banda, and Samantha Marie Harrell earned those certifications.

Djavaheri said the ITS103 certification validates foundational IT support and services knowledge.

“It covers essential skills and concepts related to troubleshooting, customer service, networking, and basic system administration,” he said.  “This certification is designed for individuals looking to start a career in IT or enhance their understanding of IT support roles, demonstrating their ability to assist users and maintain IT systems effectively. It often serves as a steppingstone for more advanced certifications and career opportunities in technology.”

Kimberly Stuckey was the proctor for the testing sessions.
