A production crew filmed a dog medication commercial at Keystone Beach during the early morning hours of Wednesday, August 21.
Dozens of crew and cast members filled the parking lot of the beach park while producing the commercial.
Clay County Tourism Director Kimberly Morgan said a site selector contacted her about the project, asking for locations near water. She said she gave the site selector several options, and the caller reached an agreement with the City of Keystone Heights based on calendar availability.
The tourism director added that over the last two weeks, she has received three inquiries about production companies filming in the county. One was for a music video, and the other two were from local independent filmmakers seeking to sell content to streaming services like Netflix and Amazon Prime.
