Keystone Heights High School boys cross-country runner Ryder Thomas placed 89th out of 381 at the Sept. 7 Florida Horse Park Invitational in Ocala.
Thomas had a time of 17:17 to lead a total of nine KHHS boys.
Noah Yara also finished in the top half of the field, placing 114th with a time of 17:35.
Also running in the boys race were Jason Parales 22:45, Adam Bell 22:48, Gavin Morford 23:17, Mason Gray 24:39, Hunter Gray 25:27, Alex Mahaffey 25:47 and Eli Rabe 27:56.
Olivia Griffin led the girls team, placing 143rd out of 284 with a time of 23:13.
Keystone also had the following girls results: Melody Tyre 25:44, Cali Chamberlain 26:52, Brook Graudons 27:46, Kenslee Phillips 27:58, London Williams 28:03 and Madilyn Miller 28:04.
In the 3K middle-school girls race, Keystone’s Raina Daniel and Ava Blackburn had times of 24:10 and 25:24, respectively.
