Natalie Thomas and Alissa Reddish placed 32nd and 33rd, respectively, in the varsity girls 5,000-meter race at the Sept. 17 Bradford High School-Bradford Middle School Invitational, which was held behind BMS.
Thomas ran a time of 26:10 to lead BHS in the 95-member girls race, while Reddish had a time of 26:13.
Also running for BHS were Lindsey McCoy (31:11), Mackenzie Austin (34:09) and Layne Loper (34:17).
The 117-member varsity boys race consisted of three BHS runners: Kayden Lee (29:07), Hayden Starling (29:18) and Koy Hartley (31:05).
Bradford Middle School’s Raelynn Alexander placed eighth out of 61 in the 3,000-meter middle-school girls race, finishing with a time of 14:19. Anna Adkins ran a 13th-place time of 14:47, while Tinsley Fortune also finished in the top half of the field with a 35th-place time of 18:05.
Dakota Thornton and Autumn Dilung also ran, finishing with times of 20:35 and 22:48, respectively.
BMS got a 49th-place finish from Tucker Griffis, who ran a time of 16:35 in the boys race. The race also consisted of the following BMS competitors: Andrew Warren (16:57), Ethan Ansley (17:22), Trevor Bedell (19:51) and Mason Scoggins (20:19).
