Threw concrete block through living room window

 Telly Forman was sentenced to four years with the Department of Corrections after pleading to felony battery- repeat offender.

According to a November 7, 2024, complaint, the victim told Bradford deputies that she and the defendant had been dating for four months, and that after the victim informed Forman she wanted to end the relationship, he became enraged.

During an argument, the 44-year-old struck the woman with the grip of a pistol, then pointed the weapon at the woman. A nearby witness fought with the defendant and Forman left the scene.

Later, the defendant returned to the mobile home and threw a concrete block through a window, shattering the glass and damaging curtains and a flat screen television. Glass from the window injured the ex-girlfriend. The block hit the victim in her right shoulder and wrist, and she was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.

The defendant’s prior convictions include fleeing and eluding, grand theft of a vehicle, criminal mischief, robbery, felony drug charges and various misdemeanors.
