Union County High School’s baseball team is the number-one seed in the Region 3 playoffs and will host fourth-seed Fort White in a semifinal game on Tuesday, May 10, at 7 p.m.
The region’s other semifinal will pit second-seed Madison County against third-seed Lafayette.
If Union (14-11) defeats Fort White (14-6), it’ll host either Madison County (12-9) or Lafayette (16-3) for the Region 3 championship on Friday, May 13, at 7 p.m.
The Tigers, coming off a 12-2 win over Hilliard in the District 6-1A championship game, are on a three-game winning streak.
