The Union County Public Library is now in its second year of hosting the newly formed Senior Social Club programs.

The programs take place on the first and fourth Tuesday of each month at 10:00 am. The bi-monthly programs consist of a wide variety of crafting projects, informational speakers and interesting activities.

Most recently, the group enjoyed a “Cooking for Two” presentation by professional chef and author, Warren Caterson. Chef Warren will return to the library and present his “Decadent Dessert” program for the Senior Social on December 6, 2022.

During the springtime, the Senior Social Club had fun at their outdoor picnic event sharing yummy dishes, relaxing in lawn chairs and even learning how to play disc golf and corn hole games.

The next senior event on Tuesday, August 26 will feature a luau party with lots of food and fun! All seniors are welcome to join in these free programs. For more information about these and other programs, call  the library at 386-496-3432 or visit the library’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/unioncountylibrary .
