Union County High School entered the District 6-1A boys basketball tournament on a roll, but the Tigers couldn’t make it seven wins in a row, losing 56-49 to Fort White in a quarterfinal game on Feb. 8 at Bell High School.
The Tigers, who were seeded fourth, ended their season with an 11-12 record.
Fort White (7-15), the tournament’s fifth seed, advances to play top-seed Bradford (10-10) in a semifinal game on Wednesday, Feb. 9.
