Caleb Ripplinger and Zoe Elixson placed third and fourth, respectively, but Union County High School was bested by Branford in a Sept. 27 golf match in Lake City.
The Tigers had a team score of 229, which was 25 strokes behind Branford.
Ripplinger, who made par on two holes, shot a 50, leaving him trailing second-place finisher Troy Tyler by one stroke and medalist Gavin Barnes by nine strokes.
Elixson made par on two holes in finishing with a score of 55.
Jordan Seay and Eli Elixson placed ninth and 10th, respectively, with scores of 61 and 63. Elixson made par on one hole.
Braden Adams, who made par on one hole, had an 11th-place score of 64, while Patrick Maxwell shot a 67 to finish 12th.
