Jaycee Davis recorded 28 kills and 22 digs for the Union County High School volleyball team, which defeated host Bell 3-1 (25-13, 19-25, 25-23, 25-15) on Sept. 26.
It was the fourth straight win for the Tigers and their sixth win in their last seven matches as they improved to 5-0 in District 6-1A.
Rylie Parrish had seven kills, while Jailyn Simmons and Emily Wilson had six and five, respectively. Wilson also had 14 digs.
Kamryn Southerland led the team in assists with 28, while also recording 14 digs. Jordan Hendricks added 15 assists to go along with eight digs.
Jurney Crim had 18 digs and three service aces.
Union (15-5) defeated visiting Trenton 3-0 (25-15, 25-15, 25-23) on Oct. 3. Stats weren’t available by deadline.
Prior to the Trenton match, Davis was sixth in the state in kills with 265. She was also 25th in the state in digs with 263.
The Tigers played Dixie County on Oct. 4 and will host Williston on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 6:30 p.m.
