Union County High School’s volleyball team strung multiple wins together for the first time since early September, defeating visiting Dixie County 3-0 (25-21, 25-16, 25-21) for its second straight win on Oct. 3.

Jailyn Simmons recorded 13 kills and seven blocks. Rylie Parrish and Layla Barber had nine and eight kills, respectively, with Parrish adding four blocks and Barber recording three. Barber also had three service aces.

Jordan Hendricks and Kamryn Southerland had 16 and nine assists, respectively, with Southerland adding 13 digs and two aces.

Jurney Crim and Indi Knox had 15 and 13 digs, respectively, while Abby Williams had six.

The Tigers (9-10) travel to Starke to play Bradford on Tuesday, Oct. 10, at 6:30 p.m. and will conclude the regular season with a home match against Suwannee on Thursday, Oct. 12, at 6:30 p.m.

Junior varsity matches will be played one hour prior to each match.
