Union County High School will serve as the site for the District 6-Rural volleyball semifinals and championship, with higher seeds hosting the preceding quarterfinal rounds.
The Tigers (18-7), who are seeded third, will host a quarterfinal match against sixth seed Taylor County (8-13) on Monday, Oct. 13, at 7 p.m. Top seed Branford (18-4) has a bye, while second seed Lafayette (14-5) will host seventh seed Fort White (11-11). Fourth seed Dixie County (10-11) will host fifth seed Bell (10-15).
All the remaining action then shifts to UCHS, which will host both semifinal matches on Tuesday, Oct. 14. Branford will play the winner between Bell and Dixie, while the Union-Taylor County winner will play the Lafayette-Fort White winner.
If the Tigers advance to the semifinals, they’ll play their match at 7 p.m.
The two semifinal-round winners will play for the championship on Thursday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m.
