A new Union County EMS program aimed at residents who call 911 most often is cutting non-emergency transports and saving money, EMS Director Brent Allen told county commissioners Monday.
The community resource paramedic and mobile integrated health program enrolled its first patients in April, focusing on frequent 911 callers with chronic illnesses and other non-emergency needs.
