Union County Schools Superintendent Mike Ripplinger recognized Brad Elixson of Woodman Life during the school board’s Tuesday, August 27 meeting.

The superintendent said Elixson and Woodman Life have been major supporters of the school district, especially its athletic programs.

“Last year, he was recognized at one of our football games for giving a sizable donation to not only our high school softball team but also our football team,” Ripplinger said. “That money, especially for the football team, was used to make some incredible renovations to the boys’ locker room on the varsity side of our field house.”

Ripplinger said today was move-in day for the varsity players, who were treated to rubber flooring, wood lockers, and LED lighting in their refurbished dressing area.
