STARKE— After a bomb threat forced the evacuation of Bradford High School this morning, officials have sounded the all-clear and have begun transporting students back to the Temple Avenue campus.
Undersheriff Brad Smith said the caller reporting the potential explosive on the high school campus claimed to be a teacher, but officials have verified no BHS teacher made the call.
In addition, a similar phone call was made this morning to a Columbia County school, prompting an evacuation there.
“This appears to be a coordinated incident,” Smith said. “We will be working with the Columbia County Sheriff’s office while continuing our investigation.”
