Washington youth tour resumes after two-year break

KEYSTONE HEIGHTS— Four high school juniors from Clay Electric’s service area toured Washington as part of the co-op’s youth tour,

The program is returning this month after a two-year suspension because of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Shannon Hodges of St. Johns Country Day School, Abby Luck of Fleming Island High School, Cat Kivett-Smith of Ridgeview High School and Olivia Votava of Oakleaf High School won the trip to Washington in February by scoring well in a test and speech competition at the Florida Youth Tour in Tallahassee.

Clay Electric has sponsored the Youth Tour program since 1966.
