Water flowing toward Lake Keystone

In November, Lake Brooklyn’s water level reached 112 feet, only three feet from its maximum, at which point water begins to outflow toward Lake Keystone and, ultimately, Lake Geneva. The outflow travels through a creek south and under Hebron Avenue, State Road 100, Nightingale Street, and State Road 21.

However, on November 14, water was already visible in the creek that leads from Brooklyn to Lake Keystone, approaching Hebron Avenue near Park of the Palms. The photo with the white plastic bag in the distance was taken from Hebron Avenue. The close-up shows water from Lake Brooklyn inching its way south.
