The owner and property manager of Whispering Oaks Apartments have settled a $5,271.34 judgment entered against the two companies in October.
The Best Restoration LLC sued 900 South Water Street LLC and Broad Street Management Group LLC in August for the unpaid invoice.
After Broad Street Management Group failed to pay the invoice to repair water damage, the plaintiff sued for breach of contract and unjust enrichment. The defendants then failed to appear at an October 12 pretrial conference, and Judge D. Tatum Davis entered a default judgment against the defendants.
On November 7, the plaintiff filed a satisfaction on the judgment stating that it had been paid.
