Wiley goal gives KHHS boys soccer team its 2nd straight win

Aaron Wiley scored off a Tyler Shaw assist to give the Keystone Heights High School boys soccer team a 1-0 win over host Fort White on Dec. 13.

Goalie Carson Eatmon made four saves as the Indians (6-4-2) won their second straight match after a stretch in which they went 0-1-2.

Keystone began the previous week with a Dec. 7 home match against Crescent City that ended in a 2-2 tie. Logan Spence scored both goals off assists by Tyler Colaw and Ian Kruzan.

On Dec. 9, the Indians traveled to Williston, losing 5-1. Spence scored the lone goal off a Colaw assist, while Kruzan and Jordan Holmes each made two saves playing in goal.

Spence, Wiley and Chris Anderson scored two goals each as Keystone got its first win since Dec. 2, defeating visiting Palatka 8-1 on Dec. 10.

Shaw and Skylar Kedgley each had a goal, with Shaw also recording two assists.

Anderson, Colaw, Holmes, Luke Brunt Austin Edsall and Jayden Park each had one assist.

Kruzan played goalie, making eight saves.

Keystone plays at P.K. Yonge on Wednesday, Dec. 15, at 7:20 p.m. and will host Hamilton County on Friday, Dec. 17, at 7 p.m.
