Booker earns 6th-place finish for Bradford at Region 1-2A championships

Kaelyn Booker was the only Bradford High School participant to earn points (awarded for top-eight finishes) at the Region 1-2A track and field championships, which were held May 5 at Tommy Oliver Stadium in Panama City.

Booker placed sixth in the 400m with a time of 1:02. She also teamed up with Diamond Ferguson, Holly Holt and Alyssa Hunt in two relay races. In the 4x100m, Bradford had a 13th-place time of 56.62, while in the 4x400m, the Tornadoes had a 12th-place time of 4:42.

Layne Loper, Lindsey McCoy, Alissa Reddish and Natalie Thomas teamed up in the 4x800m relay, finishing 11th with a time of 13:03.

Reddish also competed individually in the 3200m, running a 13th-place time of 15:05.
