Keystone Heights High School track and field athletes Tyler Griffin and Kiersten Shaw earned top-four finishes at the Don Hall Invitational, which was held April 6 at Orange Park High School.
Griffin ran a third-place time of 4:50 in the 1600m, while Shaw cleared 4-6 for a fourth-place finish in the high jump. Shaw also earned a sixth-place finish in the long jump with a distance of 15-1.5.
The boys team also got a seventh-place finish from Shepherd Rozier in the 400m (53.67) and a 10th-place finish from Ayden Graff in the 3200m (11:55).
Other boys results: 100m — Bryce Miller 12.16, Hunter Chamberlain 14.17; 200m — Rozier 24.10; 400m — Josiah Durrenberger 1:00, Tyler Sapp 1:01; 800m — Griffin 2:13, Hunter Sheppard 2:22, Jacob Stahman 2:26, Durrenberger 2:30; long jump — Miller 19-5.5, Jaden Park 17-9.5; and shot put — Joshua Blank 24-5.75.
The girls team had the following results: 200m — Ashly McCarthy 29.64, Christine Djavaheri 30.85; 400m — McCarthy 1:10.23, Djavaheri 1:10.44; and 800m — Brook Graudons 3:07, Candace Jackson 3:10.
Prior to the invitational, Keystone competed in an April 4 meet hosted by Santa Fe, which saw Shaw clear 4-7.75 to win the high jump.
Shaw also ran a third-place time of 17.71 in the 100m hurdles.
Alexis Taylor finished as runner-up to Shaw in the high jump clearing 4-6. Brianna Hogan was fourth (4-2).
The girls team also had a 10th-place finish in the 4x100m relay, with Taylor, Laila Briseno, Bethany Burgess and Marissa Dowell running a time of 57.80.
Other girls results: 100m — Dowell 14.75, Djavaheri 14.86, Burgess 15.20, Briseno 15.27; 400m — Djavaheri 1:12, Elizabeth Hogan 1:15.46, Tinleigh Gubics 1:15.96, McCarthy 1:19; and 800m — Graudons 3:01, Jackson 3:18, Brianna Hogan 3:36, Grace Fisher 3:37.
Keystone’s Griffin and Rozier led the boys team with fifth- and sixth-place finishes, respectively, in the 800m. Their times were 2:06 and 2:09.
Sheppard placed eighth in the 1600m (5:07).
Other boys results: 100m — Rozier 11.78; 1600m — Graff 5:27; and shot put — Blank 27-9.25.
