Culture House Church, Inc. purchased the land and building of Anchor Christian Fellowship near County Road 231, about one mile south of the Department of Corrections Reception and Medical Center.
Culture House Church was incorporated in November 2022 with Robert D. Jarvis II, Marvin H. Brooks IV, and Dustin Crews as directors. The deed transferring ownership from Anchor to the new congregation for $380,857 is dated Aug 24, 2023, but was not recorded in county records until October 24.
The purchase of the two parcels totaling 5.25 acres and a main building of 8,600 square feet was financed with a mortgage from First Federal Bank of Lake City.
Before the transaction, Crews resigned from the church’s board and was replaced by Stacy O. Lloyd.
