A northwest Union County subdivision that started selling 10+acre parcels in mid-March has sold 11 of its 16 lots.
The Ranches of Whispering Woods is located east of Northwest County Road 239 and west of Northwest 89th Avenue near Swift Creek, about three miles southeast of Lulu.
Whispering Woods, LLC purchased the 177.3-acre tract from the Weyerhaeuser Company in January and subdivided the parcel into 16 lots the following month.
Eleven of the lots sold between March 14 and April 4.
Last October, Atlantic Land and Lakes, Whispering Woods’s developer, recorded a similar subdivision in northeastern Union County, north of County Road 125 and east of State Road 121. Pineview Ranch consists of 192-plus acres in lots of around 10 acres each.
