Brooklyn Hayes-Yelin is in her second term as president of the Keystone Heights Woman’s Club and said she is grateful and excited to continue serving her community and the club. She previously held the position from 2023 to 2024.
Hayes-Yelin is a native of Keystone Heights who returned to her hometown in 2015 after living away since high school. After spending some time in California, where she met her husband, she moved back to Keystone Heights while expecting their now 9-year-old son. She said she is eager to raise her family in the community she loves.
Craving community
In addition to her role in the Woman’s Club, Hayes-Yelin owns multiple businesses and works from home.
She balances her entrepreneurial pursuits with her deep commitment to her family and the local area.
Hayes-Yelin said she joined the Woman’s Club seeking connection at a point in her life when she wasn’t quite finding where she belonged.
“Growing up here,” she said, “I knew everyone, but I didn’t feel like I had anyone in the same season of life to hang out with. Many of my friends already had older kids or much younger kids. I didn’t realize it at the time, but I was craving community, and I found that in our club.”
Hayes-Yelin said her family has strong ties to the organization.
“My grandmothers, great-aunts, cousins, and more all have been proud members of the Woman’s Club,” she said. “Continuing their legacy by giving back to the community they loved is a privilege, especially now that I am raising my own child here.”
She added that building relationships with like-minded women and making new friends are just some of the benefits of serving in the group.
“Being part of the Woman’s Club allows me to honor the ladies of my family while helping shape the future of this place we all cherish.”
Hayes-Yelin said this year’s goals for the club will be to further strengthen its community presence, expand the clubhouse rental program, and continue raising funds needed to replace the structure’s roof.
“While we’ve made remarkable progress with updates such as fresh paint inside and out, a kitchen renovation, and more, the cost of the roof remains our biggest future challenge,” she said. “We take immense pride in the improvements we’ve accomplished, pouring our hearts, hard work, and dedication into every step. It’s incredibly rewarding to see our community using the building for life’s joyous occasions, and we’re honored to play a small role in those

special moments,” she said.
What is happening in 2025?
Hayes-Yelin said upcoming events for the Keystone Heights Woman’s Club include,
January 25-Monthly Memory Maker,
February 15-Paint Your Partner Fun Night,
March 1-Third Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament,
March 11-12-Say YES to the Dress Prom Dress Giveaway,
April 12-Mom Prom,
September 27-Fourth Annual Almost Fall Festival.
New initiative
The Woman’s Club leader said her group will roll out new events this year, including a new program called Monthly Memory Makers.
“Each month, we’ll create unique, photographer-approved photo setups for you to capture special moments with your little ones, pets, or anyone you’d like to bring along,” she explained. “The best part? You’ll take the pictures using your phone, giving you instant access to your memories and making it easy to create a personalized calendar at the end of the year!”

Time slots will be available on the group’s website for easy sign-ups.
Hayes-Yelin also emphasized the return of the club’s golf tournament on March 1 at the Keystone Golf and Country Club.
“Last year’s tournament was such a hit it resulted in a waitlist, and we’re excited to bring that same energy this year,” she said. “Registration is now open on our website—don’t miss out!”
